Many sites of east berlin
We initially drove thru w berlin which is very "high end" looking similar to Boston w $1mil hms, then went to the Berlin Wall which was torn down 20 yrs ago. There are so many sites in e berlin, despite much destruction after the end of the Reich and communism.
The "site of grand stages" where Hitler gave many speeches.
Crosses remembering those who died trying to cross the Wall.

In front of the Brandenburg Gate which was the passage from Democratic West Berlin into Communist East Berlin
